About McMenus.us
We track what McDonald's actually costs, because McDonald's does not publish it.
Why This Site Exists
Open the official McDonald's menu and you will find the food, the calories and a full ingredient list. You will not find a price. That is not an oversight: McDonald's franchises set their own prices, so there is no single national figure to publish. The practical result is that the most common question about the menu, what does it cost, has no answer on the site that owns the menu.
McMenus.us exists to answer that question. We collect prices from live restaurant listings across the country, take the median so one unusual restaurant cannot skew a figure, and publish the result next to the nutrition data. Right now 130 of the 156 items on the site carry a price, each checked against an average of 23 restaurants.

How We Get Our Data
This is the part worth reading, because it tells you how far to trust any figure here.
Nutrition, ingredients and allergens
These come straight from McDonald's own published nutrition information for the US menu. Calories, protein, fat, saturated fat, carbohydrates, fibre, sugars, sodium and the rest are the brand's own figures, not our estimates. 123 of 156 items carry full nutrition data. Where McDonald's publishes nothing for an item, we leave the field empty rather than filling it in.
Prices
Prices are the harder half. Since there is no published price list, we read live restaurant listings from delivery platforms, which show the real prices individual franchises charge. For each item we collect that figure from many restaurants spread across states and take the median, so an unusually expensive airport location cannot drag the number up.
Two honest caveats. Delivery platform prices generally run above the price on the counter board, so treat these as a guide to relative cost rather than the exact figure you will pay. And where a listing names a different size from the item as published, we say so next to the price rather than quietly quoting a medium price for a small item.
Locations and hours
Restaurant data comes from McDonald's own restaurant locator: addresses, phone numbers, coordinates, services and the full seven day opening hours for each of all 13,441 US locations. We use it for the opening hour statistics on this site rather than as a restaurant directory.
How often it updates
The whole site rebuilds on a weekly schedule. Every price, calorie figure, restaurant count and opening time is recomputed from the source data on each rebuild, which is what the "Updated" date on each page refers to. Nothing on this site is typed in by hand and left to go stale.
What We Are Not
Independent site. Not affiliated with McDonald's Corporation.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to McDonald's Corporation in any way. We do not take orders, we cannot change an order, and we have no access to any McDonald's system or account.
McDonald's, the Golden Arches, Big Mac, McNuggets, McCafé, Happy Meal and all related names and marks are trademarks of McDonald's Corporation. They are used here only to identify the products being described, which is what trademark law allows.
For an order problem, a refund, a job application or anything else that needs the company itself, contact McDonald's directly through their official website.
Corrections
Prices change, restaurants close, and menus shift with the seasons. If you see something here that does not match what you saw in the restaurant, tell us and we will look at it. Corrections are the single most useful thing anyone sends us, and they are the reason the contact page exists.
Being wrong about a price is worse than having no price at all, which is why we would rather leave a field empty than guess at it. If a figure here is off, we want to know.
