Most Calories per Dollar
Planning around a tight budget usually means looking at what each dollar buys. These items carry the most calories for their price, which matters when the plan has to stretch.

| Sausage McMuffin | $2.99 | 400 | 134 |

Planning a Week Without Overspending
The gap between an item on its own and the same item as a meal is where a weekly budget usually goes. A meal adds fries and a drink, which lifts both the price and the calorie count well above the sandwich alone. Planning the sandwich and skipping the bundle on a few days is the simplest saving there is.
Breakfast is the other place a plan tightens up. Morning items sit at the lower end of the menu, so a week that leans on breakfast costs less than one built around dinner. The breakfast menu lists every item with its price, and the value meals menu covers the deal-priced range.
Once the week is set, the nutrition calculator breaks any single meal down into fat, protein, carbs and sodium, and the breakfast hours page covers the morning cutoff that the breakfast half of the plan depends on.
One thing this planner is not built for: a single order shared between several people. It plans one person across seven days, so the totals it shows are a week of meals rather than one bill to split. For that, the group order calculator splits an order into per-person subtotals with tax, which is the arithmetic an office run or a family gathering actually needs.
Meal Planner Questions
How does the McDonald's meal planner work?
Pick a day and a meal, add items, and the week total updates as you go. It covers 146 items with real prices and calories, and you can set a weekly budget to see how much of it you have used.
Does the planner save my week?
Yes. Save Plan keeps everything in your browser, so the plan is still there when you come back. Nothing is sent anywhere and no account is needed.
How much does a week of McDonald's cost?
A week built from the cheapest items on the menu comes to about $14.69, or roughly $2.10 a day. A week of full meals runs several times that, since a meal bundles a sandwich, fries and a drink.
Can I print my meal plan?
Print Plan opens a clean version with the week laid out day by day plus the totals, ready to print or save as a PDF.
Are the prices in the planner accurate?
Prices come from live restaurant listings and cover 130 of the 156 items on the site. Each franchise sets its own prices, so treat the total as a close guide rather than an exact bill.
How many calories should a day of meals add up to?
The common reference is 2,000 calories a day. The planner shows a daily average across the week so you can see where a plan lands, and the nutrition calculator breaks a single meal down in more detail.
